Electric Shutters Components
Electric shutters move vertically up and down, and for this, they need different components so that they can perform their function properly and properly. The electric shutter includes various components such as blade, motor, can, shaft, plate plate, endcap or bearing, lock holder, control center, UPS and rail, the existence of each of which is required for this type of door to work and failure Each can interfere with the operation of the door.
The electric shutter motor can exist in three types: tubular, side and central, each of which can be used depending on the weight and size of the door. Tubular motors are used in small shutters that are used for places that are not large, and side motors are used in cases where the doors are slightly larger, and finally, central motors are used in heavy doors. They are of moderate use.
The electric shutter rail is a part of the door that allows the door blades to pass through it and move up and down easily. These blades roll around a part called shaft and go up. The plate plate of the electric shutter is also installed on the box to install the door motor. The door control center is also responsible for receiving the desired commands from different parts and transferring them to other relevant parts.
What is an electric shutters?
The body of the electric shutter is formed by the blade, and in fact, it can be said that the most important part of this type of door is the blade. Blades exist in different genders and depending on the gender they have, they can have different characteristics. In general, the blade of the electric shutter prevents energy loss to a great extent and gives a beautiful appearance to the building when the door is closed.
The blades take up little space and due to the fact that they are rolled up when closed, they do not need much space around them and are very useful in small environments. Also, the strength and resistance of these blades are very high and they show great resistance against various environmental factors.
The advantage of electric shutter blades is that they can be ordered in different designs and colors. The factories that produce these blades provide the customer with a variety of colors and the person can choose the desired color and design according to the appearance of the building. In addition, advertising can be done in different ways on these blades. Painting can be a suitable option for advertising, and when the door is closed, this advertisement is completely visible and covers a lot of space.
Electric shutter blades are made of aluminum using extrusion technique and then painted with anti-scratch electrostatic paint.
Mechanism of Electric Shutters Production
At first, they produce the blades using the direct extrusion process. This method has a special place for shaping different metals and is used in many industries. After the extrusion process, the next steps of blade production begin, the first step of which is to wash the blade to remove all the fats and impurities from it and prepare it for painting.
After using electrostatic paint on clean blades, they should enter the paint baking oven and remain in this oven at a temperature of 180 to 200 degrees Celsius. This stage is very important and after that the blades are sent to another place for cutting and assembly.
Types of Electric Shutters Blade
Single-walled and double-walled blades: Usually, the strength of double-walled blades is higher, and their production process also requires more time, and for this reason, they have a higher price. In cases where high resistance is required, double-walled blades are used, but single-walled blades are also widely used in normal situations and are economical.
Foam blades: In many cases, electric shutters may make noises when they are pulled up and down, which are annoying and will not look good in residential areas. Foam blades are usually used in the parking lots of different buildings. In this type of blades, due to the foam that is used between them, the noise is greatly reduced and the opening and closing of the door is done quietly and without any noise.
Reverse hook blades: In many cases, when installing electric shutters, it is necessary for the screw roll to be towards the inside of the shop. In this case, the general view of the blades is on their flat side. But when you intend to roll the screw outwards, it is necessary to use the hook blades in reverse so that the appearance of the blades does not suffer.
Curved and flat blades: You may have come across electric shutters that are slightly curved. In smaller screws, curved blades are used a lot, and in larger screws, flat blades should be used.
Nano composite blade: This type of blade has very high resistance and safety and will not be damaged even with strong blows. Due to the high safety of this type of blades, they are used in sensitive places such as gold shops.
types of electric shutters in terms of gender
Blades are also classified according to gender and there are different types of them in different genders. Galvanized blades are types of electric shutter blades that are produced from galvanized sheets and foam is used to produce them. All the blades that are galvanized are in the form of foam in the market, and in terms of shear, bending or compression strength, they have higher resistance than aluminum blades. The fact that these blades are foamed makes them better insulated against sound and heat, and for this reason, this type of blades is highly appreciated. Steel blades are also other types of electric shutter blades that are available in the market in single-wall form, and the sheet used in them is very thick. The resistance of this type of blades against impact is very high and they are completely anti-theft. But the flaw in steel blades is their low rigidity and they cannot withstand wind pressure in high latitudes. Roll gater blades also have a grid-like structure and are made from steel bar sections. In stores that tend to have some of the showcase visible when the door is closed, this type of blade is considered a suitable option.
